Best Value Vin De France Selection competition: the guide for seeking out the true gem of the year
Just in case you missed it, the 2021 awards list for the Best Value Vin De France Selection competition is online. It’s a great opportunity to seek out that little gem that fits your palate like a glove from the 146 award-winning wines.
Since 2010, Anivin de France has organised the Best Value Vin De France Selection competition every year to select the top VDFs. Held in conjunction with the French oenologists’ organisation (OEF), it brings together a panel of experts comprising French and international buyers who taste the wines blind and select the crème de la crème. In 2021, 484 wines by 103 companies were judged, and 146 were awarded medals (52 gold medals and 94 silver medals).
Four varietals came out tops: Sauvignon Blanc de France and Chardonnay de France for the whites, and Pinot Noir de France and Merlot de France for the reds. This unique selection provides the ultimate guide for choosing the drop that fits your palate like a glove.
