All about moderation

A MANIFESTO FOR MODERATION

Good wine goes with everything, especially moderation.

What brings you to good wine?
Are you looking for culture, wine tourism or gastronomy? Or all three?
Wine encapsulates a part of French culture, its heritage, the diversity of its regions and its outstanding grape varieties.
Enjoying the French lifestyle is also about sharing a specific Epicurean culture of savouring food & wine! The two go together because there are as many ways of enjoying wine as there are possible food combinations, and with the burgeoning food culture, there is never a shortage of inspiration.
Whether you’re a traditionista; a BBQ master or a gourmet veggie; whether you have a soft spot for the aperitif or a sweet tooth; or whether you’re a fanatical foodie or a lover of street food, there’s something for every style, and more importantly, to suit all tastes.
But you need to keep a cool head.
To show respect for yourself and the wine, whatever’s on your plate and whatever the occasion:
Good wine goes with everything, especially moderation.

Know your limits

Tasting wine is always an experience for the senses. Its colour, its nose and its flavour call on all your senses. Including your sense of responsibility. The alcohol in wine means it should be drunk sensibly and in moderation. So to ensure that reason and wine go hand in hand, for your health, drink no more than 2 glasses of alcohol a day, and not every day.
